Hi, I’m Sarah—the face behind Devonmade. I’m a designer, artist, and Paignton local with a passion for the coast, design and supporting independent businesses. Devonmade began as a design studio in 2010 and has grown into a creative hub combining a shop, café, and workshop space at the heart of the community. Everything I do is rooted in a love of good design, local makers, and bringing people together—whether that’s through thoughtful branding, curated products, or a welcoming place to pause with a coffee. As a mum of three and a small business owner, I understand the juggle, and I’m proud to have built something that reflects both my creativity and my commitment to community.
I’m a mum of three and live by the sea with my husband, and most of our life revolves around the coast. You’ll often find me down at Preston beach at our beach hut. I like to swim in the sea all year round. We’re currently renovating our house, and I feel incredibly lucky that my business has enabled us to buy our dream home. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me at the gym, out for a sea swim, or enjoying the coast with a good coffee. I love the mix of family life, creativity, and being by the water—it’s what keeps me grounded and inspired.
