A Nostalgic Christmas Experience
This December, Devonmade is bringing a touch of old-fashioned festive magic back to Paignton with The Beach Hut Grotto – a brand new take on the traditional Father Christmas experience. Inspired by the simple Christmas joys many of us remember from childhood, it’s a heartfelt nod to the days of following the footprints through Rossiters Department Store to meet Father Christmas himself.
This year, we’re transforming a real-life beach hut into a cosy Christmas grotto – a seaside twist on a much-loved tradition. Families can turn up, soak in the festive atmosphere, and enjoy a simple, affordable Christmas experience that captures the true spirit of the season.
There’s no need to book — simply turn up on the day to see Father Christmas and Mrs Christmas. Entry is just £5 per child, tickets can be purchased at Devonmade which includes a locally produced gift to take home.
The Beach Hut Grotto will be open at Devonmade, 142 Torquay Road, Paignton on:
Saturday 6th December, 10am–3pm
Friday 12th December, 5–8pm (Our Festive Evening)
Saturday 20th December, 10am–3pm
Free child spaces
To make the experience accessible for everyone, there will also be a number of complimentary tickets available each day for families who might not otherwise be able to visit.
